LANE SPONSORS for the michael markis memorial

We are seeking lanes sponsors for the 6th Annual Michael Markis Memorial Tournament. This tournament is held annually in memory of our dear friend, Michael Markis. Michael was an avid bowler, both competitively and professionally. His life was cut tragically short on April 13, 2021 at the age of 36 years old. Each year, we choose to remember Michael by hosting a bowling tournament in his name. Above all, Michael loved promoting the sport of bowling in the youth bowlers; therefore, all proceeds of this tournament will go to the Michael Markis Scholarship Fund for local junior bowlers. Last year, this tournament brought in 228 bowlers representing 11 different states and Canada. Thanks to the donations from last year’s sponsors, we were able to award our bowlers a substantial prize fund and $2,500 into a scholarship fund. This year, we are asking for a donation of $100. In return, your business will have a banner displayed above one of the 40 lanes at Chacko’s Family Bowling Center in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania to be seen by participants, spectators, and viewers of our livestream video throughout the event, which will be taking place on December 5th and 6th, 2026. Your business will also be listed on the sponsors page of our Tournament Program.
